WiDi or Miracast would make it possible without any extra steps, but I need to make my PC (not TV) support it. Chromecast is too laggy for gaming and Steam Link only for Steam games. I'd like to mirror my desktop as a whole, not just video files or steam games.

There are plenty of instructions and devices for turning your TV into WiDi/Miracast compatible but TV is not the problem, it's brand new and has internal Wifi, WiDi and Miracast support. WiDi/Miracast specifically, from what I've googled my parts (found in profile) do support WiDi/Miracast but it's not going to work without a physical wireless transmitter and it doesn't work via router/modem.Ĭonnect menu says "Your PC or mobile device doesn't support Miracast" because there is no physical transmitter on my desktop PC. But I cannot mirror my desktop to the TV. I can access PC files directly from the TV.
